Summer Reading Club 2024 has ended!

Children may still come in to hand in their reading slips and collect their prizes!  Children may no longer register to participate as the program has ended.

This program is recommended for ages 4-12.

Registration is required as space is limited.

You may register in person or by calling the library at 973-835-5661.

The 2024 Summer Reading Club will run for 6 weeks from July 8th through August 16th.

Registration begins on Wednesday, June 26th in person at the library!

Children keep track of how much time they read each week and earn prizes as they go!

Weekly crafts are offered while supplies last:

Mondays at 5:30pm and 6:30pm

Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 2pm

The SRC is open to Pompton Lakes residents from age 3 through students entering 8th grade in September.  ANY child age 3 through 8th grade can participate in the READING portion of the SRC.  Children who are not yet reading independently may keep track of books that are read TO them.  The craft portion of the SRC is ONLY offered to children entering grades K-8 in September.

Younger children may sign up separately for Summer Story Time to enjoy weekly stories and crafts that are more age appropriate.  Classes are offered for preschoolers AND babies/toddlers.  Story Time registration begins on Wednesday, June 26th.
