Story Time Guidelines (schedule is below)

Thank you for your interest in sharing the love of libraries and reading with your child!  For many children, story time may be their first educational or social experience.  Here are some guidelines to help make it a positive experience for everyone!

Illness:  If your child is sick, please stay home and re-join us when they are feeling better.  A good guideline is to wait 24 hours following fever, vomiting, and diarrhea.  Uncontrolled coughing and runny nose (not due to allergies) are other reasons to hold off on coming to class.

Food and drink:  Bottles/nursing and water are ok to bring to class, but NO snacks will be allowed (including coffee drinks).  In addition to being a distraction, many children have food allergies.

Talking during class:  It is important that everyone is able to hear, observe, and participate in our songs and stories.  Talking is very distracting to other patrons and the story time leader.  Please save personal discussions for before/after class, or during craft times.

Behavior:  We want story time to be a fun and SAFE environment for all children.  The adult guardian bringing a child to story time is responsible for their behavior.  If your child is having a rough time, please step out and re-join us when they are ready.

THANK YOU for helping to make story time a positive part of your child’s day!

Be sure to select the proper age group when registering.  If you find you are no longer able to attend, please notify us so that we may open your spot up to another child, as space is limited.

*Classes may be added or removed depending on registration*
