The PALS Plus Summer Challenge is coming to a close. Passports that have been completed need to be returned by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Get ready for an epic summer adventure with PALS Plus! We’re inviting you to explore your community and beyond with our Passport to Adventure program.
From now until Friday, September 6, 2024, pick up your free passport at any PALS Plus library and discover a world of exciting challenges.
Each passport is filled with 10 unique adventures waiting to be completed. Visit local parks, try a new recipe, attend a library event, or explore hidden gems in your neighborhood – all with the help of a library resource. The possibilities are endless!
As you complete each adventure, write down in your passport and then visit any PALS Plus library to get your passport stamped.
But the fun doesn’t stop there!
The more adventures you complete, the more chances you’ll have to win fantastic prizes.

Prizes
Three participants will be randomly selected to receive:
$50 Visa gift card
Prize entries are based on the number of “adventures” stamped on the passport:
- 1 – 3 adventures stamped = 1 entry
- 4 – 7 adventures stamped = 2 entries
- 8 – 10 adventures stamped = 3 entries
Patrons must return their stamped passport to any PALS Plus library by September 6, 2024 by closing time.
The grand prize drawing will be held on September 26, 2024. The participant does not need to be present and will be notified shortly thereafter.
PALS Plus will only contact contest winners who have provided contact information on the back of their passport.
Only one prize will be awarded per person.
Staff from PALS Plus libraries are not eligible for prizes, but they are free to participate. Contest Period
The contest runs from July 1 – September 6, 2024.
Rules
From July 1, 2024 – September 6, 2024, patrons can visit any PALS Plus library to pick up a contest passport book and explore any one of 10 different adventure ideas contained in their passport, and have that adventure stamped.
Patrons can visit any library and present a completed adventure in their Passport to Adventure contest passport book to have it initialed or stamped in the space provided.
Patrons will drop off their passport – regardless of how many adventures they have completed beyond the first – to any PALS Plus library on or before September 6, 2024. Shortly thereafter, arrangements will be made to have the entries delivered to the PALS Plus office.
On September 26, 2024, PALS Plus will hold a drawing for the winners of a $50 gift card.
Contest Rules
- A patron obtains a passport at a PALS Plus library. A patron does not need to identify themselves as a library patron in order to obtain a passport, all they need to do is ask.
- Only one passport per patron.
- The patron should be present when having the passport stamped.
- Patrons wishing to enter the contest for prizes should fill out the contact information on the back of the passport.
- Patrons can have as many or as few adventures as they choose, but the more adventures they have, the greater chances they have of winning.
